Separation Anxiety

My computer is gone.

I will get it back, yes, but it might be up to a week before I see it again.

It needed repairs, and the warranty was about to be up, so this was the week to do it.

Luckily, this is also the week I am moving out of my apartment, so I will have plenty to keep me busy. (This is perhaps the only context in which I can preface the preceeding sentence with "luckily").

It's been great living in Bellevue; I will miss being able to just walk to everything. (And I will miss John and Tom, who are leaving to Pasadena.) Everett will be beautiful and flower-filled in the summer, though. So that's good.

And by the time I move up there, my computer should be back.
